Back to School

it was hard coming back at first, but God is showing me that this is His plan at this stage of my life and has given me so much peace and great memories to look back on....i.e. picnic in the Botswin Lobby, dancing the tango with Nicole, Singing It's a Small World After All in Mused 150 like 100 times! oh and of course Euynhe Kim (my sight ear prof) playing an augmented chord and explaining to the class that it sounds as though someone died, whereas a diminished chord sounds like a horrible (she meant Horror) film. I'm really excited b/c this semester in mused 150 we are learning how to play the guitar and recorder! I have a recorder already, but not a guitar, so Cory said i could use his! i also like the fact that it's such a small class, only 8 people.
Since there is no marching band this semester i decided to join the handbell choir at church! Thanks joy, for letting me play the f and g bells, and not the really huge ones! This weekend the wind ensemble is going to Indy to play at the IMEA conference. As much as i enjoy playing the Jenkin's Symphony i am looking forward to getting new music! After the concert Joy and i are going shopping at Circle Center to look for a dress for her recital. Saturday night the Russian National Ballet is coming to Emens to do Sleeping Beauty....all three acts! i love the music, esp. the blue bird in the third act. The Magic Flute is coming up too!!!! Good luck to everyone that's in the opera and pit orchestra!
the weather was so beautiful yesterday! it felt like spring! In fact it was so nice outside that we decided to have a picnic at 5;30pm. By the time we met for dinner the sun was already low on the horizon and it was getting chilly, so we had our picnic inside Botswin lobby instead! At least there were no bugs!
necesito hacer mi tarea para espanol ahora! Hasta luego!
