i passed!

i'm soooo happy! i passed my trumpet playing exam today--in fact i got a B!!! now, i know that that doesn't sound like a big deal, but for me it was ginormous! i seriously thought i was going to fail the midterm since i couldn't play most of the high notes! i made the mistake of practicing almost an hour of trumpet before the exam which wore my lips out, but at least i was able to reach more of the high notes. Dr. Scheib was all like, don't make the high notes sound so loud and piercing, and i was like i'm just happy they're coming out at all! haha! so now i'll be playing the trombone for the remainder of the semester! yayness!
